OUR PASTOR

Pastor LeKeith Richardson

Pastor LeKeith “Keith” Richardson was born in Helena, Arkansas to Houston Stackhouse and Patricia Richardson.  A portion of the Richardson family moved to Omaha, Nebraska in the early stages of Pastor Richardson’s life.  Pastor Richardson is a product of the Omaha Public School system graduating from Northwest High School.  While walking the halls of Northwest High School Pastor Richardson found the love of his life, future soul mate and ministry partner Ms. Andrea Johnson.  On February 13, 1993 God allowed the two of them to confess their love and devotion for one another and unite in holy matrimony.  They have nine children Andrew, Ja’Lesa, Aaron and Adrian, La’Ceiara, Kayontae, Cartier, Antonia and Antojanea. The Richardson’s have five grandchildren Jordyn, Arielleigh, Myles, Adriona, and A’Lyric.

In February of 1994 Pastor Richardson decided to surrender and give in to God’s will and accept Him as his Lord and Personal Savior.  Pastor Richardson accepted the call to the Gospel Ministry later that year in 1994.  In 1998 the Late Pastor W John Ford saw fit to license Pastor Richardson.  Pastor Richardson stayed a licensed minister until August 2002 when God elevated him as an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ.

Pastor Richardson served the church in many capacities with God’s approval.  He served as the Youth Pastor for Robinson Memorial from 1996-2003 and the Assistant Pastor from July 2003 – February 2008.  Pastor Richardson has a heart for the youth as he also served the Eastern District as their youth president and a worker in the Nebraska Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.

God also gave Elder Richardson the vision of SAINTS SPORTS.  SAINTS SPORTS are an acronym meaning Successful Achieving Individuals Needing To Succeed.  This ministry was established in 1999.  God gave Pastor Richardson the name “Cathedral of Praise” one night as he slept.  Pastor Richardson questioned God as he knew what his future was to be.  Through adversity and trials at Robinson Memorial God opened the door for Cathedral of Praise to exist.  God made vision reality on September 14, 2008 as the first worship service was held at Cathedral of Praise Ministries.  Now God has saw fit to elevate Pastor Richardson to the office of Superintendent of the C.H. Mason District and the Administrative Assistant to the Jurisdiction Prelate Bishop Joseph L. Shannon Sr. of the Eastern Nebraska Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ.
